ENVIRONMENT DAY AND IT'S IMPORTANCE
June 5th marks a very important day as it is the WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, a day to raise awareness and encourage action for the protection of the world and our environment.
The first ENVIRONMENT DAY was celebrated in 1974, it has been a flagship campaign for raising awareness on emerging Environmental Issues to Marine Pollution, Human Overpopulation, and Global Warming to Sustainable Consumption and Wildlife Crime. For living environment plays an important role for humans by providing air, water, food, etc. Environment Day is promoted by the United Nations.
THE THEME FOR THE ENVIRONMENT DAY IN 2019 WAS "AIR POLLUTION"
Air Pollution is one of the leading causes to the environment. It causes huge amount of loss to the plant life due to harmful gases and toxins in the air and causes acid rain which is a cause for worry throughout the world. The world is becoming more and more polluted each day. 5 trillion loss is faced by the world economy due to the damage caused by air pollution.
It is necessary to address environmental issues like Deforestation, Increasing Global Warming, Wastage of Food so that they can be solved and environment and human lives can be saved.
Looking to the day to day requirement of human beings, many energy sources are scarce in supply. It is a matter of time before they will be exhausted, In an effort to find alternative forms of energy, the world has turned to Renewable Sources of Energy. Ours is a small step towards caring for nature by protecting the environment and producing renewable energy material and support green business
